Before Painting of Studio

Thought I would never get the studio cleaned out and ready to paint.  I think the building had become a catch all for everyones overflow.  Instead of a craft/art room it was a junk room!
My dear friend, Jan, agreed to graciously come over an help me paint.  She saw the pictures with all of the junk and was glad it was gone too.

Lots of reusing and repurposing of furniture was used.  Another friend graciously donated old bedroom furniture.
I had another give me upholstery fabric she no longer wanted.  The easel came from an auction.  Lots of help and love
from my friends.  Even had my dad's old chairs from his art gallery business that was sold close to 10 years ago.

Will be getting rid of the old cottage garden look.

  2. Thank you for visiting. So glad I got my studio space together this last summer. It really does make a tremendous difference when an artist can have their own special space to be creative whenever they need to work.
