Final week is here, cant believe it.  The work was demanding, but well worth it.

Our first homework assignment was to make 5 different thumb nail sketches of what we were thinking about drawing.  A thumb nail sketch is a very quick, simple drawing with some shadowing or values added.  It is a way to practice before making a major commitment to a drawing or painting.

My friend, Jeri, had an abundance of hot peppers growing in her garden and was looking for a home for them
I saw these peppers and thought not about the hot salsa we could make, but oh how pretty they were for a drawing in my class.
