Let's continue with these next steps.
Supplies Needed:
Paintbrush
Water container
Gesso
Paper Towels
Stamping Materials and Ink
Blue Painters Tape in 1/2" and 1" widths
Hair Dryer of Fan (to speed up drying of layers)
3). Apply Gesso with or without watering it down first. Do not cover the whole piece. Leave visually interesting places unpainted.
4) With a paper towel, before the Gesso dries quickly remove any Gesso that covers too much canvas to expose the underlying layers.
Let Gesso throughly dry before proceeding to next step.
5) Gather up your Stamping supplies. Then stamp onto the canvas areas you desire. I even stamped on top of textured objects like the upholstery trim.
6) Last step for today. Once the Stamps are dry tape over any areas you find visually interesting with the Blue Painters tape. That way those areas will be protected from our next layering steps.
HELPFUL HINTS: If you do not have many stamps or ones that are appropriate for this project be sure to read my blog on making your own inexpensive stamps.
UR-TURN: Did you have any problems with my instructions? If so, what were they. Feel free to share any pictures and thoughts.
Until Next Time.
Many Blessings,
