Painting the Faces that shape Iola

This is an open invitation to the community of Iola to join me in a one year long journey. My goal is to paint the wonderful faces of the people that live and shape our small city. As a portrait artist it is always a joy to artistically capture the unique God given qualities each one of us possesses.
At the end of the one year I have intentions of hosting at least one exhibition, possibly at the Iola Community Center. It will be a time for Iola to celebrate and enjoy the diversity each model displays in their portrait. All admission fees collected at the Iola Community Center Exhibit will be donated to the Iola Food Bank.
HOW YOU CAN HELP: Models need to commit to 3-4 hours for a portrait sitting. There is no fee to the model. Any age model is welcome, but must be able to sit. The model will be given breaks every 20 minutes.
Beginning, Friday, June 18th from 9am-12 pm or 1pm-4pm, I will be doing live portrait painting at least one day a week at PADRON’S grocery store. Appointments for sitting are neccessary. Please sign up in appointment book at PADRON'S GROCERY STORE. Thanks to the communities support and enthusiasm the appointment book is full for the rest of 2010. New appointments for sittings will begin in January 2011.
